Hello, I’m Debbie Godfrey, Founder of PositiveParenting.com.

I started PositiveParenting.com in 1995 to provide parents with information that makes parenting more rewarding, effective and fun. I have taught these classes and workshops to thousands of parents in the U.S., India and China.  I have found that parents around the world have one thing in common– they love their kids and want to do the right thing regarding discipline.  The tools I teach you will give you more confidence in your parenting and give you a better relationship with your children, while at the same time correcting their misbehavior.

I have received many requests over the years to put my teachings online for parents who cannot attend my classes.  I’ve attempted to deliver individual lessons and workshops to parents via the internet and have decided after almost 18 years the best way to provide all my lessons and workshops is to post every audio and video file I have created over the years in a membership format at an affordable price on PositiveParenting.com.  Currently there are over 150 audio lessons, each 3-5 minutes and over 5 hours of workshops.  I teach full time and am continually adding new content to the member area.

I teach classes and workshops in my local area, and also travel the country and the world.  But who I really want to reach is YOU.  The parent in any place in the world, doing your best to raise your kids. Maybe you’re feeling helpless, frustrated, angry, uncertain or gosh knows what else, but very often NOT having much fun!  So you search the net, looking for answers, and my website pops up.  I want you to know that I have worked with parents for over 20 years, and somewhere in this site, in this information, is an answer to whatever your dilemma maybe, especially if it’s about discipline and behavior in your kids.
